Forest School

In our History lessons we have been learning about real-life superheroes. We found out that a real life superhero, Charles Darwin, was born in Shrewsbury and have been finding out more about his theories and his life. Today, we took on the role of Charles Darwin and travelled to explore the Forest area! To collect evidence, we wore sticky tape 'wristband' and completed notebooks; recording what we saw. We were really lucky to see a squirrel really close- he must have been brave! We noticed how well the squirrel was adapted to suit its environment; with its excellent camouflage and its claws and tail to help it climb trees easily.
