Art

During our first week back at school, we began to study Andy Goldsworthy as our focus artist for our sculpture topic. Firstly, we had a go at creating our own sculptures using some of the classroom equipment.

We found out that Andy Goldsworthy makes his sculptures from natural materials, so, we went outside to explore the Forest area. First we sketched and made notes of the natural materials we could spot in order to plan what we could make our sculpture out of. Next, we worked with a partner to have a go! What do you think of our sculptures?

 The sun.

A creepy spider!

 A sculpture of the Wrekin.

 A butterfly.

 A city.

 A nest.

 A ssssssnake!
